How Doktalo’s apps fit together: PACS, reporting, dictation and planning

A useful imaging toolkit starts with the work a clinic needs to do. Archiving a study, drafting a report and planning measurements are different tasks. Doktalo’s product pages describe connected tools for these tasks; this guide explains where each one fits.

Cloud PACS: the study and its history

Cloud PACS addresses the archive and viewing part of the workflow. Its role is to receive and organise imaging studies and make them available for review. For a clinic considering PACS, the starting conversation is about existing equipment, current archiving and how studies should reach the reading team.

vet.copilot: from findings to a structured draft

vet.copilot is presented as an assisted reporting tool that works with dictated or typed findings and report templates. The distinction matters: preparing a structured draft is not the same as independently interpreting a case. The clinician reviews the content, verifies its meaning and finalises the report.

Doktalo Dictate: another way to enter findings

Dictation is useful when the reporting workflow calls for spoken input. Doktalo Dictate focuses on veterinary vocabulary and Romanian/English reporting workflows. It belongs at the point where the clinician records findings, with review and correction before those findings become a final report.

Ortho Planner: a focused measurement task

Ortho Planner addresses radiographic calibration and orthopaedic planning measurements, including the TPLO/TPA workflow described on our product pages. It is a focused tool within a wider clinical process. The clinician selects the plan and checks the measurements; the software does not replace that responsibility.

Choose by workflow, not by the longest feature list

Start with one concrete need: studies to interpret, an archive to organise or a reporting task to simplify. We can then discuss the relevant service or application and its configuration. Full application access and paid modules are arranged by contract with the Doktalo team. A clinic portal account is separate from that application access.

What to send in an enquiry

Tell us the modality, the tools you already use and the step you want to improve. If the question is about a clinical case, send files through the clinic portal rather than the commercial enquiry form. Availability, integration requirements and scope should be agreed before introducing a tool into your workflow.
