Tutorial: submit your first imaging case to Doktalo
A practical walkthrough of the public submission form at app.doktalo.ro/upload. Field names were checked in the English interface on 5 November 2026.
1. Prepare the study
Export the complete imaging examination, preferably in its original DICOM format. Keep the relevant history and referral question ready. Use the file formats and size limits shown on the current upload page.
2. Choose the interface language
Open the upload page and select EN or RO. These controls change the form language; they do not create an account or change access rights.
3. Enter patient and referring-clinic details
Complete the required patient name, requesting clinic, referring doctor and referring email fields. Add relevant species, age and other information. If you opened an authenticated clinic workflow, check the clinic context shown there rather than assuming it is the same as another account.
4. Add clinical context
Use Clinical history for the relevant background. Select the Study type and appropriate Areas for interpretation, then write the Specific clinical question. Suggested history chips can help entry, but check the final wording.
5. Select the files and review
Under Medical Files, use Select files or Select folder, or drag the files/folder into the area. Confirm the intended examination is selected. Only confirm the consent declaration when it is true for the submission.
6. Submit and keep the confirmation
Select Submit Case when the form is complete. Wait for the application’s completion message before closing the page. If the result is unclear or a transfer stops, keep any reference and progress message and ask for help before starting another submission of the same case.
Interface wording and available functions can change. For case files, use the secure clinical workflow. For access or onboarding questions, contact the Doktalo team.
