October development notes: a lighter mobile website and clearer clinic services
Not every useful product improvement is a new application feature. In October 2026, work on the Doktalo website focused on helping clinics understand the offer, find the right contact path and browse more comfortably on a phone. This note records those website changes.
Cards that work on a phone
A mobile layout conflict left some three- and five-card groups with narrow columns and an oversized final card. The corrected rules stack cards consistently on phones and keep the desktop arrangement. The website review covered 34 English and Romanian pages and articles at the time of the update.
Smaller image files, the same artwork
The image work preserved the original Media Library files and added lossless WebP display versions with responsive sizing. The measured default-source homepage image set fell from approximately 1.69 MB to 662 KB, a reduction of about 61%. The logo’s default delivered file fell from approximately 520 KB to 43 KB. These are image-file comparisons from that update, not a claim that every page loads 61% faster.
The same fonts, delivered locally
Local copies of the existing fonts replaced external font imports. The intention was to remove an extra request chain while retaining the established typography. The changes also kept the pages editable through WordPress blocks rather than turning the design into an uneditable image.
Training and consultation are easier to find
The English and Romanian Services pages now describe courses and practical training alongside medical imaging consultation. Clinics can enquire about a format and topic suited to their team. The website does not list fixed course dates, accreditation or prices for these services; scope and availability are discussed directly.
Language choice stays explicit
English remains the main website language and Romanian is available through its flag. Automatic third-party translation has been left disabled. The two authored language versions keep their own pages and links.
What this means for your clinic
You can explore the service and applications, use the enquiry form to describe your needs, and use the clinic portal for clinical files. These updates improve the public website; they are not a release announcement for new diagnostic capabilities in the clinical applications. Tell us if a page or workflow remains difficult to use.
